What is Quartio?
Quartio is a cloud-based PMS with built-in channel manager for hotels, guesthouses and holiday rentals in Europe. It combines calendar, direct booking, portals, invoicing, POS and AI assistance.
What property size is Quartio for?
Small and mid-sized properties and small groups. It is not meant for chains with hundreds of rooms and their own head office.
Which features are live and which in testing?
Calendar, direct booking, invoicing, POS, inbox, newsletter and price automation are in use. Channel manager, portal messages, WhatsApp and door lock integration are in testing. The overview with status is on the home page.
Is there an app?
Quartio runs in the browser and can be installed as an app (PWA) on phone and tablet.
Channel manager and portals
How does the calendar stay up to date on all portals?
Quartio sends changes in batches to Channex, which supplies the portals. Bookings are fetched every 2 minutes.
How are double bookings prevented?
Each unit can only be occupied once. Bookings that cannot be matched stay open and are logged.
Can I use Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia at the same time?
Yes, that is the normal case.
Pricing and contract
How is the price made up?
A plan by number of units plus the add-ons you need. Every add-on can be combined with every other. You receive a concrete quote after a short demo.
Is there a trial?
Yes, you test with your own data. During the trial PCM enables add-ons for you.
How can I cancel?
Add-ons can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice. Billing is by SEPA direct debit.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Data can be exported, guest and invoice data remain yours.
Privacy, security and AI
Where is my data stored?
On servers in Germany, with daily backups.
How secure is the separation between properties?
Every data row is bound to the tenant by row-level security. Portal credentials are stored encrypted.
Which AI is used?
AI texts and price recommendations run exclusively on German AI hosting (mittwald). You review and publish yourself.
Is there a data processing agreement?
Yes, under Art. 28 GDPR on request. Details in the PCM Group Trust Center.
Austria and Europe
Does Quartio support the cash register rules?
Yes, the POS supports the Austrian cash register obligation (RKSV).
Can Quartio be used outside Austria?
Yes. Multiple countries, languages and tax rates are built into the product. The website is aimed at Europe.
