Privacy policy
As of 6 November 2026. This policy informs you under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) about the processing of personal data on this website. It covers the website, not the Quartio software itself. In the software, each property is the controller and we act as processor.
1. Controller
PCM Solution GmbH, Kohlerweg 155, 5531 Eben im Pongau, Austria
Email: support@quartio.cloud, phone: +43 (0) 6458 - 20041 - 2000
2. Overview
This website uses no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers (the price calculator uses our own server, section 5). A consent banner is therefore not required. The exception is content you load yourself through an action (sections 5 and 6).
3. Hosting and server log files
When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, data volume, status code, and browser and operating system identifiers. The purpose is secure and stable operation (error analysis, defence against attacks). The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is deleted or anonymised after 30 days at the latest. Our hosting provider processes this data on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Local storage in your browser
We store your choice of colour scheme (light/dark) and language only locally in your browser (local storage). These values are not transmitted to us and serve only your convenience. The legal basis is Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (storage necessary for the requested function).
5. Contact request, demo request and price calculator
In the price calculator, your browser and our server (quartio.pcmdwp.at, hosted in Germany) retrieve rates and prices and calculate your selection. The server technically processes your IP address (log files, see section 3); your selection (property type, number of properties and units, add-ons) is used for the calculation only, without personal reference. If you request a quote, we additionally store your name, email, optionally phone, property and message together with the calculated quote in the platform database and send these details to ourselves by email. The purpose is to prepare and answer your quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If you contact us through the form or by email, we process your details (name, email, property, number of units, message) to handle your request and advise you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or (f) (legitimate interest in answering). Requests are managed in our sales system (the PCM Group Sales Hub), which we use as processor. We keep requests for up to 3 years after the last communication; if a contract is concluded, statutory retention periods apply. We do not pass data to third parties unless you instruct us to.
6. Appointment booking (embedded calendar)
If an appointment widget is embedded, it is loaded only when you explicitly activate it. On loading, your IP address and browser data are transmitted to the widget provider; when you book, the provider processes your details (name, email, requested time). The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR by activating it, which you can withdraw at any time by leaving the page. The provider and its privacy notice are shown in the widget.
7. Recipients and third-country transfers
Recipients are our processors (hosting, sales system, email), each under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. We prefer providers in the EU/EEA. No transfer to third countries takes place for operating this website; should one become necessary, it will rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. External links
Links to the PCM Group Trust Center, the Quartio sign-in page and portals (for example Booking.com) are plain links. When you click them, the privacy policies of the respective operators apply.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). Contact support@quartio.cloud.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at, or with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence in the EU.
10. Obligation to provide data and automated decisions
Name and email in the form are required so we can reply. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
11. Security and changes
Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. We update this policy when features or the law change. The version published at any time applies.
